We are currently recruiting for a Carpenter to join the team at the Sussex project in the Lower Mainland!
Responsibilities:

Comprehend blueprint readings and prepare layouts
-
Understand industrial concrete forming, build concrete forms, and other structures
-
Complete rough and finishing carpentry tasks, while utilizing appropriate math skills
-
Check completed units to be sure they are level, square, plumb and the right size, shape and location
-
Organization and site clean up as per site HSE standards
Requirements:
-
Preference will be given to a Journeyperson Carpenter Ticket from a recognized provincial training authority or be a Registered Carpenter Apprentice

Non-ticketed carpenters must provide proof of hours relevant to the industrial Carpentry trade

Fall Protection and Confined Space is an asset
-
Light equipment operating experience an asset

Ability to coach, mentor and train apprentices

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Describe and point out safety compliance and regulatory issues
