For this position we would be looking specifically for someone who can work on saturday and sunday mornings starting at 6:30AM. There may be the opportunity to cover additional shifts on weekdays in the future or pick up shifts for other server days off. We will only reply to applications who provide this. Preference to candidate with most flexibility. This is a restaurant serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, so all shifts could be required, but primarily hiring for the morning shift 5:30AM-2PM on Monday to Friday and 6:30AM-2PM on Saturday/Sunday
Join our team with decades of hotel experience. We are looking for a part time/casual server to work as the second server who would be available to work when fluctuating hotel occupancy presents the need to have additional servers. Duties and Responsibilities:
· To be punctual and groomed appropriately (clean and neat)
. Stock and set up the breakfast buffet. lighting and filling chaffing dishes, providing cups, plates, cutlery, etc.
· To be knowledgeable about the menu
· To take food and beverage orders and ensure promptly delivery and quality of the product
· To present cheques properly and ensure cash-outs are correctly completed
· To be aware of dietary and allergy concerns and communicate these to the kitchen as soon as you hear about them
· Work well as a team player and representative of the Food and Beverage Department
· To be adaptable for large groups and may contain banquet shifts – day and night functions
· To perform Function room set up’s/ tear down’s – setting tables, chairs, cutlery & linen
· To be prepared to run food to tables and bus tables in a fast paced environment.
· Any other duties as required or communicated by the Managers
